REALLY REALLY GOOD! I can't wait for them to all be neutered and (fingers crossed) healed by the end of next week so we can move to bonding them enough to live together! It's so exciting and I have absolutely no patience when it comes to waiting so it's SOOO hard not to just let them all be together. Especially because they're doing so well. I just put them all away in their bunny cages since I have to go to work and of course, they're alll banging on their doors like rabid buns trying to be let back out... even the girl who is way skittish and NEVER wants to come out. I think the bonding has helped her anxiousness a little bit. She's starting to come out of her cage on her own. When we first got her, she would never come out so we'd have to pick her out. Their breed is Tan and their "runners" so they NEED to be let out every day and so we felt so bad but we didn't want her getting depressed or anything from never getting out and being able to bounce around like the others. But she's doing so much better! I'm so happy with the progress we've made and I'm glad your progress is going just as well!

Ye! I'm going to do that tomorrow, and maybe give them a cardboard roll to toss around
I just did another basket session, I think they are getting the idea of it now and don't hate me quite as much

Aww I'd be the same of you,I'm just desperate for my two to love eachother haha, I just had another bonding session this time I started in the box stressing them slightly as normal, then took them upstairs in their box and kinda tipped the box sideways into the bath, twinks was the bravest and came out to explore first, them stitch followed her immediately, they both had a bit of a look round then they kind of realised they were both in their together with nothing between them they were both a bit unsure of what to do. And they both just got quite close side by side, i petted them both at the same time which they lovvedddd.. Twinks had a little growl at stitch at one point and I think it might be more begging for pets than actual aggression, is this possible?.?.? I snapped no and pushed her away a bit and she seemed ok after, I kept such a close eye on the. And was a tad nervous, after that stitch was pretty much sitting on twinks as I petted her and he started grooming himself, so he obviously trusts her, they both had a little nibble if hay that I'd put in there, and stitch lay down properly at one point, he obviously trusts her a lot more than she trust him, but I don't no her background so maybe she's had a run in with a bad bun before? They are both now back in there runs, grooming themselves like mad, don't no what that means!,!

Should I do this again later today or wait till tomorrow! ..? Does it seem like there are good signs despite the growling?? Any advise would be fab sorry for such a long post

Xx

That sounds like a very positive session! Did you time how long they were in there together? I found that keep track of the time helped keep me moving forward and gave me a goal (today I'll do 15min, then tomorrow I'll try 20min, etc).

It's definitely fine to try twice in one day. The more sessions you have, the faster they'll be bonded.

i forgot to see what time it was when i started the session, buttt i took a photo of them just over half way through and had another 10 ish minutes after i took that so id guess it was about 20 mins start to finish!! which i thought was good..
ido want to try again, but fr some reason im paranoid that id be pushing my luck a bit!

i think il try the box again and see how it goes, there currently hanging out in eachothers cages as i have swapped them over, they dont seem to be scenting things too much which i think is positive!!!
