Spring Fling Flyer (PDF)
The Colorado House Rabbit Society is having its fun Spring Fling event again on May 19th in Broomfield, Colorado. This is a fun bunny- and bunny-person-only annual event that takes place at their Broomfield shelter. I have gone to the event three times before, and it's a blast for humans and their rabbity friends! The flyer doesn't say much about the event itself, so here's a quick list of what to expect:
Bunny-related merchandise, including safe toys for the bunnies. All proceeds go towards the CO-HRS's rescue efforts
Games and contests for rabbits and their owners
Silent auctions for the humans (I bought a beautiful handmade rabbit plate and some nice jewelry at last year's event)
Wonderful "bunny people", many of whom are respected rabbit vets and shelter volunteers
The event is free and free parking is available outside the shelter. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own pet rabbits (please bring your own cages). I hope to see some BBers there this year!
