Nothing. I don't have family anywhere near me and most my family don't celebrate holidays anyway (religious beliefs say no to holidays for them) so it's really just another day for me. |

We are going to my mom's friends house, and I'm getting a vegetarian tofurkey; since I don't eat meat. I don't care for Thanksgiving (for MANY reasons), but Tofurkey makes things slightly better. Haha. |

We're going to my parents' house this year. My dad normally has to work on Thanksgiving. I can't remember the last time we were able to have Thanksgiving with them. Apparently, they weren't going to tell me either. I found out though and sort of invited myself and my husband over. Hopefully they won't be too mad. |

I started my cooking this morning! I have one of my uncles coming tomorrow to spend Thanksgiving with us. I haven't seen him in 6 years so I'm excited about that. My parents will also come to our house for dinner. I made 2 loaves of bread today so I can make stuffing, I have a pumpkin pie and a birthday cake to make tomorrow (Friday is my daughter's birthday) and the turkey goes in at 6 am on Thur. Can you tell I LOVE to cook for people? =D |

Well this year Thanksgiving is at my aunt and uncle's house. I am so disappointed, it is a tradition in our family to have Thanksgiving at my grandparent's house but this year my aunt (by marriage) is "too pregnant to go", the baby is due on Christmas Eve and my grandparent's is only an hour away. Maybe I'm being unfair here and just have a case of the sour grapes because I think my grandma's cooking is amazing and don't like missing out on it, I already have the mindset that the food won't be good. I need to grow up |

We are going to fiances parents house since mine live too far away. Bleh. Not looking forward to all his ...off... extended family and their wild kids. Its buffet style and they like to poke their hands and fingers in the food. BARF |

bunnyfriend, when you are that close to having a baby, being in a car for an hour could be rather uncomfortable. I don't blame her for not wanting to go! Are your grandparents going? Maybe hte food won't be as bad as you think Kinggoblin, make sure the kids wash their hands first and take food from the parts they don't poke at |

Kinggoblin - Could be worse. My husband's cousin's kid will stand face-level with the food and then sneeze all over it. Yeah, glad we're not going there this year. |

MonkeyBun - YEAH RIGHT! The year before last they came even though they all had strep and didn't tell anyone! - glad I stayed far away from them - two people did get sick though, the ones with compromised immune systems of course. *shakes head* LBJ10 - OH GROSS!!! |

Hahah yeah I'm just grumpy, it's been a long week, and I've never been pregnant so I don't really understand haha. My grandparents are going but I don't think they're cooking anything. It still will probably be a nice time though...though my grandpa thinks it's okay to watch the Packers game all day on Thanksgiving. Hmph. |

Looks like no turkey for me this year hubby got sick, so we're not going to go. Ah well... guess I better think of something to attempt to cook now. |
