So while me nd the buns were at the vet, the vet sexed penny…. who is a boy. vet is worried about max and penny fighting (two boys=not good), but i have to say, i’m not too worried. of course penny will be neutered but they get along- even through penny’s puberty they’ve been fine. i need to wait until next pay check to get the little buggers removed, though.  that 120 vet bill for penny’s stool sample really hurt the wallet. that would have been her neutering money… and yes, i still call penny “her” and “penny girl”, because i’m used to it and she likes it

soooo we’ll see!!! cross your fingers that they don’t fight!!!

hehe! Another Penny turns out to be a boy – it’s becoming fashionable to name bucks Penny. Maybe you can spell it Penne (Pennay) or just Penn.
I don’t think you’ll have trouble with Max and him either….fingers crossed.

haha well, i already call (him) Penwell (bc Max is technically “maxwell”), or PenPen so it works

I like both Penn & Penwell!
They get along so well now, it is hard to imagine them fighting – but, keep an eye out!

Well seems the name is easily made over for  a boy bunny.   Penpen  sounds good.  or Sean Penn.   Naaaaa Penpen is better. Cute too

OH that is great they are still getting along.  Wow.  Cool.

I have a Tucker who is a girl…we originally had been told she was a boy…and it was soooo hard getting used to calling her “her”.  But finally Tucker seems like a girl name to me somehow LMAO

We at one point in time a few years ago took care of a bunny brother bonded pair.  They weren’t even neutered and they got along great as two males.

Two males are not as difficult (generally!) as females. As always, there can be exceptions to this… but it seems like they’re great together right now, and as long as Penny gets neutered soon, I’ll bet you don’t even break the bond.

Hmmm… Penny = boy… how about “Lincoln”? Lol! Get it? (nevermind.) ;o)

Don’t fret about same sex bonding. I’ve had a female-female pair (at the time of insta-bonding they were BOTH unspayed though I was ignorant then of what could have happened and lucky) and I have two males (both neutered) who also insta-bonded. I truly believe once they are fixed they are really sexless and any combo can work-I think it depends more on temperment then on who previously had testicles/ovaries

Love the title of the post hehehe
