         Hi, Everyone,

Jerseygirl mentioned that sometimes we stop seeing the posts at the top of the list and scroll down for the new stuff.

So, at her suggestion, I am writing a floating post to ask everyone to re-read the posts that are marked with the big Red Pushpins on the left.

They are stuck at the top so everyone will be sure to see them. If you are a Newbie (Welcome! ) they are doubly important.

BB fixed yesterday’s glitches, but probably, like many internet sites this week, we will get extra holiday/vacation traffic online and any assistance in keeping the flow up and the spam down (use the Alert button) would be very appreciated. So no name changes, please, post low res pix (see the Tech. section on how to do it), link the videos if you can’t embed them, and put all important questions in the appropriate forum sections so we’re sure to get to the health-related ones first.

Have an emergency Vet number handy during the holidays. We’re not a substitute for a trip to the doc with a funky bunny. It’s harder on a holiday weekend, so a little advance research may mean the most to your furbaby’s well being. (Kind of like leaving the # for the babysitter by the phone.)

        HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Honestly, I forget they’re there too! After so many countless hours of viewing the same webpages, you don’t always notice things anymore!

To help in “Pam’s Red Pushpin Campaign”, I went through each section and edited the “icon” in the Original Post to “NONE”. This way, rather than a smilie or an exclamation showing up, the Red Pushpin will be visible if a topic is pinned.

In doing so, I rediscovered some cool “stickies”. For example, in the Q&A section, there’s a thread on Rabbit books! As long as a topic isn’t locked, you can still contribute to what is in there, even if there has been an extended length of time from the last post. Stickies are excempt from the “Old Post” rule.

One thing I do appreciate at BB is the way things are highlighted with just the simple push pin icon or capital letters. I’m glad things don’t flash and move etc. After a while though, it is easy to glance past them so when a new thread is pinned i do wonder if it could get lost quickly amid other pinned topics.

LOL, yes Rabbitpam, they are fun to read :~) I agree, it is easy to look past them and I do encourage new members to read them.

I agree, it is nice that way. I do overlook them though.
