his cage sound plenty big enough. I agree that it sounds like someone trolling you. Willow is an alone bunny too. I’m home all the time and she has a dog and 3 birds as her warren and she is very happy with it. I used to think about getting a bun buddy for her, but she is so happy, has perfect potty manners and is very social, so I ‘ve…[Read more]
thank you all. She is seeming to love it. She never went back to her xpen during the day, and now she’s taking naps in the top part of this one with her head hanging out where the ramp is. We get the Willow seal of approval.
If you give them free range, get some split loom from an auto parts store. It’s basically pvc that wraps around wires to keep them safe. http://www.amazon.com/uxcell-17-3Ft-Length-Diameter-Plastic/dp/B00EK8029C/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1457214747&sr=8-9&keywords=split+loom Good luck! They and you will enjoy hanging out together more.
I haven’t used the horse ones since I have had Willow. But I remember using them on the ferrets sometimes in the summer when the wood pellets would be out of season. I had to just barely sprinkle them into the boxes.
And why is the hair chewing one so interesting to them? lol A fun and education game is, when the ipod headphones are left on the floor they can be cut into several interesting different sizes. If Daddy is playing a video game wait till he’s just about to kill someone and then jump up on the desk and flop on the keyboard.
it looks like straw to me. If so, it’s the heavy grass stalks. It won’t have all the more tender, thinner type and smaller pieces that hay has. They probably won’t eat it, however if it’s dry and clean it won’t hurt them if they do eat it. You could easily use it as a litter/bedding.
Cute bunny Love4bunny. So funny that he did that. Poor pits, I read that study when they did the genetic testing and found that they were mislabeling so many as pits. Lump loves small animals. I don’t have cats, but for some reason those are his personal fave. Our neighbors cat has scratched him so many times when he’s t ried to lick it.…[Read more]
Willow is a single gal and I think is doing wonderful. She’s out of the cage anytime we are home, for us..usually someone is home. In the evening when I go lay on the bed to watch tv she usually jumps up and lays on my chest for an hour or two exchanging pets for licks.
I take boxes I get and break them down and weave them through the bars of the pen. Willow will always chew those over the bars if given the option. Even old toilet paper holders work. Sometimes I’ll get willow or rose bush branches and weave those through as well. I have big pear tree rounds that we drilled holes through and I’ll tie…[Read more]
I think my favorite breed is English bulldogs. However with all the heath issues and breeding too much for looks regardless of the health problems…so far I haven’t been able to bring myself to consider one, ethically. Though if I could find a really good breeder that bred for health and not looks, maybe or rescue dog.
oh Moxie that is a super c ute dog. I love bully breeds best. They are the only ones I feel can really live with smaller animals safely. (obviously it depends on individuals, but overall) I need a pic of Willow standing on Lump. She loves to use him as a good place to periscope from. Our birds like to ride him too. But Willow, she…[Read more]
Couches that can’t be blocked cover in heavy blankets so you have a chance to stop her before she destroys the couch. Hit the second hand stores for the blankets if you want them at a more reasonable price. Throw rugs or those plastic carpet runners for the carpet works too. Clapping and/or yelling make Willow happy and does not work. I…[Read more]
Last night was rather scary. She seemed cold and wouldn’t eat. I’m now going on two days of no sleep, so if I mix words up or miss something you know why..Im in a haze. I ended up tossing a king sized comforter into the dryer and then put that in her pen. Then I had a bunch of small blankets that I kept running through the dryer and…[Read more]

I wonder if they gave you a weird flavored one. Willow likes hers. I was really paranoid that she wasn’t eating though. She wouldn’t even take a little carrot, which she loves. I knew blackberry leaves are supposed to help stomach upsets with bunnies, so we pulled some leaves off the ones growing in our yard. She ate all we gave her!…[Read more]
