I wouldn’t really recommend mesh floors since I’ve heard of rabbits getting some pretty bad cases of sore hocks from them. As for the poops, have you tried litter training her? btw Pep is so adorable!!
I’m more concerned about the cane molasses and soybean products. He only got 1/4 of a cup when i still fed him pellets and is probably going to get an 1/8 if i reintroduce it but i’m worried about feeding any of those to him in general

I think anything below 40 or 50 F is cold for a bunny. My boy wont even go near the windows and look outside if its below 50 and would rather cuddle up on my bed, lol!
Yeah, I guess it would be tricks making homemade pellets. Mars has unlimited hay and 2 cups of assorted veggies a day, and i took out his pellets for a few months but i read that pellets have a lot of vitamins and minerals that rabbits need. I would also suggest feeding herbs like basil, parsley, cilantro, mint, etc just to add variety. A majority of Marzipans diet is romaine lettuce so he’s kind of grumpy that he didn’t get it but I’m pretty sure he likes the other veget…[Read more]
I took Mars to the vet yesterday because I noticed the area was super puffy and red. the vet told me that in this case, a collar was vital. letting mars lick it more would cause damage, putting a bandage on it would not let the area breath, and putting the bitter paste on it would entice mars to lick it more. she sent me home with an e collar and…[Read more]
Thank you! I will definitely consider a hard sided carrier. I had never considered the chewing through part. Mars isn’t a chewer at all but tends to do it if he feels enclosed in any way. We actually had to free roam him because he couldn’t be enclosed anywhere, lol!
Thanks for replying! I buy the big bags of hay, too so I will probably wait till it’s 3/4 empty and then see if he likes the variety hay. Mars is just a fluffy vacuum so I’m pretty sure he will love the variety hay. ?
