Im jealous! I would love to take my buns to the beach but its like 10hrs away. lolWhen you say "strapped in" what do you mean exactly? Will he have access to his food, water and hay while in the car during the ride there?"
Yep, his regular cage is small enough to just be in the backseat and have the…[Read more]
Nice to know we’re not the only ones that are certifiable when it comes to our bunny I thought it might take a bit after the surgery to get all those hormones out, but we’re prepared. The changes we’ve seen were actually pretty minimal: spending a little bit more alone time on the vent, till we’re around that is, then he’s ready to play; and…[Read more]

Hopefully I’ll get to go to the IMAX to see this one soon myself. There’s a Body Worlds exibit at the museum next to the theatre and I’m hoping to make a day of it I am a little behind on the books though, maybe this summer I’ll get in some reading time.
BinkyBunny- is the other movie you’re thinking of Pan’s Labyrinth? That was a really good…

That screen is a genious idea. Sometimes I feel that we’re wasting a ton of litter because we have to clean it out so often with all the poops. Where did you find it?
For the avitar you just get a message in red that says "Avitar must not be larger than 80 x80." I guess it’s not automatically resizing at the moment. Not a big deal, just a pain to try and figure out how much to shrink in paint. Thanks for looking into it though.
So far all he is getting are pellets, Timothy hay, and water of course. He’s not gone on the floor again so I can’t really see the color again, but when I clean out the newspaper from the bottom of his litter, it looks like normal pee. We have since started testing fresh spinach but have decided to try some other veggies after reading mixed…[Read more]
I went ahead and uploaded it to Photobucket and used the link and that helped some. For some reason it’s not automatically resizing to 80 x 80 once uploaded on to here (it did for the profile picture though.) No big deal, I have an idea of how it should be now so I’ll just keep tweaking it. I’ve got an avitar up now, it’s just small, I’ll figure…[Read more]
The pellets that we’re using are: Sunseed Soothing Special, Sunscription Vita, Vita Rabbit Formula (wasn’t sure which name was the actual name of the product.) It’s the food Sully was being fed before we adopted him. They seem to be good but we’d not heard about the calcium thing before so we just wanted to double check. Thanks so much.
Thanks guys (especially Osprey for the link to a new site.) We had some extra spinach in the fridge and just thought that we’d give it a try. I’ll just stick the veggies that I’ve seen listed often. Thanks so much, you guys are awesome
What is a good amount of calcium for both Timothy hay and pellets, I’ve not really seen any numbers. I checked the packaging and the numbers looked low to me (hay- 0.25% to 0.75% pellets- 0.5% to 1.0%  Is this amount ok? We’re not giving Sully any other veggies or goodies yet, so the hay and pellets are the only places where he’s getting…[Read more]
We had thought about getting a bunny for a few months so we did do some research before hand. But here and there I’m sure somethings will just come up along the way. Right now his ‘area’ consists of a cage (solid bottomed of course,) where he sleeps, eats, has a litter box, ect. We have the cage in dinning room and we’ve closed off the exits so he…[Read more]
Thanks guys. It is nice to know the little guy loves us. He’s discovered toes now and I it’s so funny to watch him. He’ll run a loop around me, the lick my toes, then run through his tunnel, then come back to the toes, ect. And I just found out what a ‘binky’ is, he does this all the time. We thought it was just funny, nice to know he seems to…[Read more]
Ok, it looks like he was just trying to figure out what he can and can’t do here at his new home. After the first day of doing this and us saying no and nudging him away, he’s not doing it anymore. Thanks for the suggestions though, we’ll keep it in mind incase it comes up again.
I actually just posted the same question. Our bunnies’ stats seem to be a little different but it sounds like the concensious is that we’re loved lol. And I’m happy to hear that my little guy isn’t the only one that does this
