I know this is a weird one, and a lot less scary but my cat had a similar thing where she was shaking or twitching her head a lot and the vet told me it could be a loose piece of fur in there irritating the canal.
haha, what part of ontario are you in? I am from the UP of michigan which is right on the border with Sault Ontario – which is also the great white north. I think my hometown still has about 5 ft snowbanks, which will make driving home in 2 weeks a real treat
Critical care and a syringe, banana, or whatever her favorite is to tempt her to eat if she doesn’t for awhile. Natural fruit juice to add to her water, it can take them a while to drink. Make sure you keep her contained for as long as the vet says so she doesn’t get hurt.
I have a pen with a cover. I live in an area with a lot of owls, hawks, etc so I would never allow Indie to be just free range in the yard without a pen. I also wouldn’t use a harness on her because well she’s a wiggle butt and I worry she would get hurt. I guess I will research the safe out door areas of the country and go from there
Bunnies have pretty finicky digestive symptoms. I wouldn’t really recommend that you leave him for more than a night or so by himself. He is gorging himself, which is throwing off the digestive system which is why you’re dealing with the poopy butt and such.
