    I store mine in one of the kitchen cupboards, that big annoying one that goes under the corner section of the worktop, and normally ends up with stuff left there out of sight and out of reach. I can fit 20 kg of hey in there (our hay gets delivered in 10 kg bags) and its really handy for cleaning out the hay boxes each morning. All the mess stays in the kitchen and is quickly swept away after.
