MM, I had no idea what they were either. From looking around pandora’s website (angelicvampyre posted the link austraia one above), I’ve gathered that it’s similar to a charm bracelet in that you start off with just the base brecelet/necklace and then add the charms you like to it, the difference is (any one feel free to correct me if I’m wrong) that the bracelet base is a solid band – braided leather or sterling silver or gold -and rather than clipping charms onto the links of a chain bracelet, you actually slide these cute shaped beads onto it. You can add spacers and there are beads that hold their place so the charms don’t all slip to the bottom. So you get the cute/customizable aspect of a traditional charm bracelet without all the dangling pieces that might eventually get caught on some thing or fall off.

I do have a charm bracelet (the traditional kind) and it’s cute, and I have a few charms on it, but I don’t wear it because I don’t like it dragging across my paper/keyboard when I’m working – for that matter, I don’t like anything (watch or even a less dangle-ly bracelet) dragging across the table/paper/keyboard which is why I tend to wear only rings, necklaces and earrings. Yeah… I’m sure you all were dying to know that. hehe.

meh. I don’t know.  I was looking around and they do have some beads with dangle-ly bits… maybe the difference is just how you put the charms on the bracelets… *shrug* either way, they’re cute
