    If you feel he isn’t losing weight after switching to the new pellets, then you can decrease the amount of pellets. If he’s getting plenty of hay, etc. then he may not need the amount listed in the feeding instructions.

    Also, be sure to make the switch slowly by mixing with his old ones.
