I hope it’s just the ex-dew claws  bohering him. Rerstricted movement in Max’s case probably doesnt mean complete cage rest, but he shouldnt jump up on or down from furniture, do binkies and zoomies. So a restricted area, but not shut in a smallish cage. It’s good for his digestion (=poop function) if he can move around a bit, and it’s also less stressful.

If the vet had suspected skeletal injury I think they would’ve recommended x-rays.

Obviously keep monitoring. In particular look for other signs of peculiar gait and how he holds his head etc. It’s very good to have films to show the vet, buns often behave completely differently at the vet. Hopefully you won’t be needing more vet visits for this though.
