They were bonded well and spend most time near each other, I don’t see the humping any more too. Thanks again for all the help and support!

Minor problem I need advice on. I got a Chihuahua dog to take care of for ~2 weeks. The dog is in a separate, closed room all the time and it is a very well-behaved dog. Only when I take him out, I take him up and carry him outside, I’m concerned they will be too frightened. Although in the past I also brought the dog, they were not bonded and it did walk on the floor several times, Pi didn’t mind so much when there was distance between them, and I didn’t let them too close. I did bring him closer to them for acquaintance this time, but Dorian didn’t react well and seemed like he attacked Pi actually, while Pi seemed not to mind the dog in my hands. I brought the dog about a meter from them. After some time I saw Dorian lick Pi on the face and then, although gently, but kind of try to bite him I guess, not sure but it didn’t seem to aggressive. Pi didn’t like it of course, growled a little and walked away.

I assume it’s the presence of another (even carnivore) animal in the house that makes them fussy? Or did I leave some smell of the dog on one of them so they are confused? I stopped bringing the dog closer to them of course and even when I take him out I kind of hide him so they see him less.

I hope the bond survives this! I only saw a couple of fights like this and they don’t seem to do it when I’m not there – not sure but if they would be fighting, I would see a lot of fur on the floor.

Any advice is welcome1. Maybe I didn’t give all the required info so ask questions if needed please.

    Thanks,

    Dorian, Pi and Finik
