Knabbel Did It started the topic Bugs and Bug Spray? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 15 years, 7 months ago
We have the “Bug Lady” come spray every few months to keep away the creepy-crawly critters that we didn’t invite into the house, but now I’m wondering if that could be a potentially bad thing for the new bunny we plan on bringing home this week. She usually sprays inside all along the outside walls and in all of the corners. Thankfully we’ve…[Read more]

Olivia was watching “Toddlers in Tiaras”. She thinks that show is ridiculous. However, she knows there are a lot of beautiful ladies out there in Binky Bunny land so she decided she is going to host an online pageant for them.
Before I outline the rules and we can get started, I need to have 3 volunteer judges. The first 3 interested get the job.…[Read more] -

Hi everyone,
Well I was just thinking how well BunBun had been doing since his bout of GI stasis in August.- I think I jinxed myself.
BunBun had some calcified urine in his bladder when he was Xrayed in August. I also notuced that both times he had belly trouble, I found a small amount of a thick, white substance on his chair and on his fur-…[Read more] -
Michelle&Lolli started the topic Anone have chiropractic success? in the forum THE LOUNGE 15 years, 12 months ago
I have started to see a chiropractor for my spine problems. Today was the first visit with xrays. What the xrays showed is that my tail bone is perpendicular to my spine. Apparently I was born that way according to my dad. The chiropractor did some light adjusting today to correct my tail bone. And it made all my symptoms – including pain -…[Read more]

Jerseygirl sent me this article after Mops had passed away. It does confrm what Dana Krempels had mentioned in a reply to me, and it explains why my vet’s measures didn’t save him. I do recall asking my vet why Mops was getting so cold. I was thinking it seemed like a bloat in a dog but I was not aware that rabbits can get this.…[Read more]

Well.. I found something Zeus likes as a treat.
.
I was eating some tortilla chips while sitting on the floor and hanging out with him. A large crumb of tortilla chip fell in front of him, and before I could pick it up he reached out and ate it!
Just to see if it was a fluke, I then offered him another little bite about the size of half of my…[Read more] -

So we got a new bunny about 2 weeks ago – this is our first. He is now 12 weeks old and not a happy bunny. He is a black netherland dwarf bunny (or nederland as my kids like to say
) Anyway, he is does not seem happy. When we first met him he was calm and gentle with my son (who is very gentle in return) – but since we have been home he has…[Read more] -

I don’t have any problems with my room getting to hot (or humid) for my buns, but I was just wondering….
It seems like here (down by the gulf) humidity is a big concern. I saw one tip for keeping your rabbits cool was to put a wet sheet on the side of the cage and put a fan on it. If it were hot, wouldn’t the heat plus the water vapor now in…[Read more] -

I have two dogs, Maltese and golden retriever. They both LOVE LOVE LOVE to eat bunny poop. I don’t know why and where they learned it. Everytime they go near the bunny cage, they both snoop and circle around the cage looking for bunny poop that flew out of the cage.
