So it sounds like, objectively, he is hitting all the needed health behaviors. He’s eating, pooping, and taking care of himself as needed, which is good.
I am leaning towards behavior changes as a result of having another rabbit there. Even if there is a break from dating, both of them are quite aware of each others presence and can smell each…[Read more]

I’m wondering if anyone has any insight on what’s going on with Theo. He has been acting depressed and low energy lately. He still eats, drinks, and poops his normal amount but is picky and less excited about food, sometimes taking all day to eat his morning pellets instead of gobbling them down in an hour or picking through his greens and only…[Read more]

Thank you! I’m in Vermont and am only buying/feeding greens grown in VT/NH/MA right now and thoroughly washing the homegrown greens as that seems pretty safe so far. If it gets closer to the east coast then I will probably have to figure out something else.

I go to the vets frequently for her annual jabs, I have mentioned this but they said it’s nothing to worry about and they every bun is different 🙂hopefully this hel…[Read more]

Lops4Life! replied to the topic how soon should I take my rabbit to the vet? in the forum HOUSE RABBIT Q & A 6 years, 4 months ago
Hey!
Has your bunny been to the vets before? Do you have any concerns? I suggest if you have no concerns with your bun that you don’t necessarily need to take a visit to the vets, unless they haven’t had their annual jabs that they need. Hope this helps 🙂 -
Lops4Life! started the topic How often do you groom your rabbits? in the forum DIET & CARE 6 years, 4 months ago
Hey! 🙂
My rabbits have very healthy coats and rarely ever get knots. I usually pull out their moulting fur gently and (sometimes) groom their fur. How often should I be doing this and what are the benefits? -

Vets will take emergency cases. This is an emergency, please take him immediately! Because they’re prey animals, rabbits will hide illness for as long as they are able. If he’s this bad, it’s highly likely he won’t survive without vet care.
