The spasms would be the fipronil and if he needs treatment for it, benzodiazepines are recommended. Bs are GABA-receptor agonists and calm down the hyperactivity that the fipronil induces in the nervous system.

From wiki: “In animals and humans, fipronil poisoning is characterized by vomiting, agitation, and seizures, and can usually be managed through supportive care and early treatment of seizures, generally with benzodiazepine use”
