I would take any bunny you get from them to a vet immediately. You want to make sure they are healthy and what you are describing sounds a bit suspicious.

On to your question though. I have a Holland and a Jersey wooly, both boys. They love each other and get along great. Both are pretty easy going, plus they are neutered. If you want to bond two boys, they need to be neutered first. Otherwise they will fight.
