Bunny Sphynx is getting a lot of attention. I posted it 6 hours ago to House Rabbit Society FB Group and it’s gotten over 200 likes and 30 shares.
I trained one of mine to eat more hay when I found that dropping some through the roof of the cage onto his head and directly in front of him made him eat it! I would say Link is being aggressive because of Mido’s hormones. It will take a month for them to settle and dissipate so trying to bond them during that time is futile. We’re aware of the possible need to remove the upper teeth but we really don’t want to. She didn’t cope well the first time. We had to hand feed her with a syringe every hour for two weeks. After two months she still isn’t eating properly and she’s lost a lot of weight.
I think she has been x-rayed but it didn’t reveal anything. You’re info gives us something to work with, thank you. I think she’d figure out how to eat quickly enough without the incisors, she loves her food!
