My brother is currently building the chicken coop. He’s getting the frame done. Right now it looks like we are building several rafts. We have the floor “skeleton” and some of the wall “skeletons” done. (okay my brother has some of them done). The plywood still needs to be put on, windows put in, roof door ect. And then we’ll need to work on mixing the “big” chicks with the “little” chicks. We will probably have to rehome one of the little chicks because it is pretty much evil lol. (Okay I know they can’t really be evil.)
But it’s a hen and from the day it got here (at only about 2 days old) if you picked up one of the other chicks it would grab the leg of that chick and crocodile roll and try to take it’s leg off. (We’ve marked her head green so we know it’s that same chick) Now she’s been plucking the feathers and attacking the other chicks. That is the only chick that doesn’t have feathers missing from it’s back. We’ve tried everything and even bought some chicken lotion stuff that tastes bad so they won’t go after each other. And in the chicken world, if they see an injured one they’ll all go after that one. So if that little bag chick plucks out feathers of another chick and it starts to bleed they’ll all go after it. It is slightly aggrivating. But I looked online and found that other people have trouble with that breed. So erhg lol.
The big chicks are doing good though. Now they expect treats everytime I go in there now. They are getting all their feathers so I’ll have to take some pics soon.

My best friend’s dad is giving us their truck, It needs some work but it’ll be good for us. They are nice people. Also my friend’s birthday is next month and I am not sure what to buy her. I’ll probably just do something safe/simple like makeup or jewelry. I can’t believe it is already summer. I need to go buy a new bathing suit. I’m tired.

OH and the puppies are doing good. Although one of them, whenever she gets worked up at all she gets the hiccups. Does anybody know what that means? Should I be worried? Is another vet trip in order?

Okay I’m going to go and stop rambling on.
