Jazlyn you are right. And I agree with Azerane too. They need shade. But if you are relying on moving the x-pen around during the day, you migth forget and leave them in the sun by accident. I found that mine never used the frozen water bottles I gave them. They did like to lie on concrete paving stones and they dug shallow pits to cool off in. The concrete stones and fresh dirt (in the shade), are cooler than the lawn. If you can put their pen under a large shady tree, that would be best. The area under a tree can be 15 degrees F cooler than the surrounding area.
