With 8 litter boxes to clean each morning (plus piggies) I need something quick to clean, cheap, and creating minimal waste. I put half a puppy training pad in the base of a clear underbed storage box, partially fill with hay. Each morning, I carry the boxes one by one into the kitchen, lift the top layer of dry still-fit-to-use hay off and pop it down onto a clean half puppy pad. I then roll up the wet hay and poops into the wet training pad and bin it. I then lift the new pad, with yesterdays dry hay, into the empty box, and top up the hay with a fresh layer. All six buns grasped the idea of using the hay boxes as litter trays very easily, and will run to them if playing elsewhere and needing to go. Plus of course lots of pooping gets done in the boxes thanks to the food-in-food-out principal

Here is Podge, demonstrating how the hay munching side works

You can see in the back right corner somebun peed quite high in the corner, these boxes are thankfully high enough
to catch all, and most hay stays in the boxes and off the floor
