Actually bottles aren’t hygienic, mold and fungus can grow in them very easily and can be hard to clean but a bowl is easy to clean and has air to it so nothing can grow in a open container. Bottles make it hard for the bun to get enough water since they have to work much harder to get the same amount of water from a bowl and a bowl is more natural.
