hey guys just want to get opinions on this honey is a couple of weeks recovering from a GI stasis episode and I’m constantly anxious he is heading back into it due to him still having small poos with hair tied up in them

but I’ve noticed this strange stretch a few times over the last year and it looks like a bit of a bullfrog look
Im just curious if anyone else has seen there buns do anything similar or is this somthing I should be concerned about?

the stretch is towards the end of the video I’ve attached thank you for your time 🙂

This looks like a response to belly pain. She is pressing her belly to the floor. It looks different with different buns. Sometimes it looks like a failed pushup, sometimes it looks like a failed yoga pose.

Yes, it could be gas. You can try giving simethicone to see if it helps.

My bunnies have occasionally done this, sometimes from a sitting position which i think is just them stretching weirdly. But when they do this while lying down it usually means they are tummy pressing due to gas.

As LBJ10 says smithecone is good for gas. If gas is accompanied by low appitite you may need to intervene to ease the symptoms and prevent it getting worse.

My bunny does this pretty much every time she loafs!! I was worried about it at first for the same reasons and she is totally fine.
