  okay so quick question,I have done lots of research and so far there hasn’t been any case that is similar to my situation,,okay so basically I have 3 rabbits,,and all of them aren’t bonded yet,,2 of my males are in the process of bonding but I have stopped the session for awhile and thought “why not bring the third bunny and bond them together?” I mean I’ve heard lots of people saying how if you brought in a new bunny and you already have a bonded pair,it would disrupt the pairs bonding but in my case none of my bunnies are bonded yet..so what should I do? does bonding all three of them will make it easier or smoother compared to bonding a pair then bonding the third one? what should I do?

  There is no clear answer with whether bonding 3 unbonded bunnies will be more ‘successful’ than starting with a pair bond and adding a third. What can be said is that, especially for a first-time bonder, trying to bond 3 single rabbits is more challenging than starting with a pair and adding in a single. With a bonded pair + single, you only need to really be alert to the behaviors of each of the bonded rabbits to the third; however, with three single rabbits, you need to be attending all dynamics across every rabbit towards each other. There is also the added benefit of spending time bonding just two allots you more time to learn the body language of not only rabbits in general, but also those particular rabbits, which can be helpful in knowing when and how to effectively intervene if a date is going sour.
