Bio:
I am a broadcast writer/producer who got swept up in my love for bunnies many years ago. My interest in rabbits led me to soak up anything and everything rabbit related. I've attended many rabbit health and behavior classes workshops. I've been educated by vets, rabbit experts, behaviorist, informative links, great books, years of volunteer work with SaveABunny, years as a rabbit board community leader for iVillage.com, and by countless hours of observation. Once I discovered that so many shelters were overcrowded with rabbits, I wanted to do my part to help owners understand that there are solutions for many of the reasons rabbits are given up - And that's how BinkyBunny.com came to be. Today, my husband and I share our home with three wonderful rescue rabbits, Jack, Rucy and Bailey. Though I love all animals, I have a soft spot for rabbits. Not because of their cute fuzzy faces and puffy tails, but because they are intelligent, sensitive, strong, and are charmingly unique individuals. I love the fact that no matter how much I have learned over years they can keep me on my toes. What works for one rabbit may be totally off base with another and finding solutions usually comes from combining education with trial and error. And that's what this community is about - asking about the things we don't know, and sharing with each other with what we do know.
