        Hi there

Gus doesn’t want his collar anymore and I’m
Thinking about Bachs Rescue Remedy. How do you give that to a rabbit and how much? He’s 12 lbs

Are you wanting to put it in his water? Just a few drops is all you are supposed to use.

I have no idea. Is that how you do it? He doesn’t drink a lot, but I’d rather underdose than over

I don’t think you can overdose on rescue remedy.

Funny you should mention trying it yourself . … I looked it up and thought, “oh, doesn’t that sound nice!”

I tried it. Couldn’t just put it in his water w/o trying. I don’t feel anything different but at least it didn’t change the taste. One more week of the collar. We aren’t going to make it that long. Today I went to put it back on and he latched on, grabbed, tugged and ran off with it.

Poor Gus. I can’t blame him though.

If that had been Kieko, she’d have peed all over it while she had it so she wouldn’t have to put it back on.

I’ve used rescue remedy alot in the past when I would rescue rabbits from shelters – they didn’t have the particular pet one but I would sometimes just put it behind their ears and stuff and sometimes in their water. I don’t think it’s harmful. I think I’d tried it before too but don’t remember how I felt – been awhile of course.

oops Didn’t know there was a pet one. shoot! Oh well. It’s not that long but I swear I’m going to be a sobbing mess if I don’t stop waking up to disastrous cage. Guess I should leave his collar off during the night, though I went in at 5 a.m. to take it off. That’s been a safe time of day before, but not today. Guess their production of cecals isn’t on any kind of clock. Ugh and double Ugh!! I know it could be worse, but it’s just sooooo frustrating. Guess I better try more of this remedy!
