  Well, I found this interesting.
  
  I received an email from the Pet Extraordinarium today (an online UK pet supply outlet who sent me the most marvelous sleeping mats for Fiver) and there’s apparently this thing called Fireworks Night there on the 5th of November. The mail was an advertisement for their version of Rescue Remedy, and it included an admonition to keep pets indoors during the celebration, etc…which-since it falls on Wednesday this year-is “expected to last for ten days”???
  
  Do you guys really light fireworks for ten days in November? 0_o Wow, that sounds like one heck of a holiday! What’s it for? Could a UK member elaborate on this? It’s not Guy Fawkes night, is it? I thought that had already passed?
