Five buns are slated for execution some time in the next day or two. We are full, and trying to find a place for them. If you know anyone in California who can help, please contact us.

A quick update: two of the buns got rescued by SaveABunny (yay SaveABunny!) Two are in foster care with The Rabbit Haven, and only one of them is left at the shelter. They gave her a repreive of one week, so now we are working on getting Pearl out too. If you know anyone who is interested, The Haven will even cover her spay expenses.

osprey.. the site where i linked it to.. someone replied to my thread and said one of their friends had tried to get pearl out, but they said she had been adopted May 29th.. is that true!? : ) |

She was supposed to get out, but then no one at the shelter would get back to us and we lost the adoption. I think she is still there, the shelter doesn't respond to us now :-{

wow that is so sad... is there any way you can contact the shelter she is being held at as an independent person willing to take Pearl, and not as your shelter?? : ( i hate when people do all this bullshoot.. all you are trying to do is help a poor bunny. |

Pearl is out and safe! We finally managed to get the shelter on the ball and arrange transport for her to Sacramento, where she is now in foster care and looking for her forever home. You can't really tell from the pictures, but she's a big hunka bun, almost 15 pounds!
