Well I got impatient for Ruby to shed she is 5 mos. All that long hair. Cottony texture. Always tangled. So I cut her hair. All but the mane. She dosn't look too good like that tho. Awe. HOpefully in Oct when she is 6 mos she will shed out and grow in her adult textured hair.
Was funny after I trimmed her I put her out to play. She kept grooming herself looking like .... Hey what happened to my hair. She kept grooming and looking at herself and grooming. Was funny. It also makes it easier on her when sheds out she won't swallow all that long long hair.
She had a supermane I think she got the throwback gene to the jersey wooly. All her siblings have normal lionhead hair. OH well. I love it all long anyway. She looked so cute with long hair all over.
I am told she will have a great mane as an adult and the longer it takes them to shed out the better the mane when they pass the junior stage to the senior stage. She has hair like Tiera my friends fav doe.
OH noo I posted this in the wrong place.
yes behavior is a good place for it. thanks
