I have been trying to bond my boy bun and girl bun. She is free roaming becasue she is house broken. Here is my question, she will go over to his cage; they will sniff eachother and be very nice to eachother while they share hay and sniff each other. She even lays by his cage ( i think to keep hjim company until he gets fixed next week). She will then pee or poop next to his cage. is this territorial or her giving off her scent?

is she already fixed i hope? they can get pregnant thru a cage. i'm so happy you're going to give it a try. you will want to wait at least a couple weeks after he is neutered to introduce them properly and start bonding. if they start to fight he can hurt himself badly if not fully healed. it sounds like it's going pretty well tho that they can interact thru the cage without fighitng.

yeah they do that sometimes to kinda say 'this is my space!' and for the other bunny to know that they were there, is the girl spayed?

yeah the girl was spayed a few months ago
