I accidently submitted a post multiple times.  I was able to reaccess my replies thru edit function and removed the text but now there's just blank submissions there?  Can I remove these myself ?  If so, how?! Or is that only a function communty leaders can do?

Thanks

Hm, I think there's a delete button up there along with the edit button. Otherwise I think the Board leaders do go through and wipe out the multi-posts on occasion.

I still don't know how to do this....HELP! I didn't find any delete button. I've got a bad habit of double posting :|

I did the same thing and thought there was something to remove them with, but I guess I was wrong.

BB, can we delete our posts if we mess up? Or does an admin have to do that? (P.S. one of my extra ones is in the Lounge, "Pip-tures"...one has no photos in it.)

you can send me the link or post the link to the double post and I'll delete.

I usually delete double posts when I see them. I'll also be sure to tell the other forum leaders to do the same as well.

Mimzmum, I'll go the lounge and try and find what you're talking about and delete it.

Yeah, it seems like they took it away from us...not sure why though.

it was an accident that it was ever given. Some forums had it and some forums didn't. It's so if a REAL whackadoodle ever gets on the board and we need to report it to the authorities, it makes it easier to keep the record of it - even if the person edits and deletes their info. We are able to see the place holder, avatar and date of post. If it's deleted, it makes it harder to search.

So if you ever need anything deleted just email me and I'll delete it.

mimzmum, I couldn't find the duplicate post. I'll have to check again when I get a second.

Someone else must have removed it, BB. I can't find it either and I went back about 7 pages worth of my forums.

I have been deleting a few dupes as I browse, it may have suffered the "Osprey Click of Death"
