Bunnies are a popular pet at my college, and since I posted pictures of Kale on a particular social networking website originally aimed at college students, a couple friends have sent me messages saying “OHMYGAWD UR BUNNIES SO CUTE IT SHOULD BE FRENDS WITH MY BUNNIE!!!” (I’m paraphrasing, of course )

I was wondering, are random play dates good for rabbits? Or do they cause unnecessary stress?

i don’t think it’s a good idea. bonding is for the purpose of them being permanent cage-mates. chances are that when introduced they would fight and it’s not worth the stress for either of them.

That’s what I was thinking, thanks!
