So, we have nothing but the humane society around where I live and they never have more than 3 buns at a time. There is no dedicated bunny shelter around us. The Columbus House Rabbit Society is about an hour away. I have always wanted to help out but right now money is tight with me not working. I talked with someone from the rabbit society and my husband and I are going up in two weeks and are going to play/help with the buns at the shelter that the rabbit society uses. I have also been saving up TP/paper towel rolls, toys, hay, etc so we have some stuff to take for them as well.
I told them I would love to do this more often it just depends on how i am feeling. I hate that I havent done anything before now but with not feeling well it is kinda hard. I would love to foster but we just dont have the room.
Maybe someday I can help set up our own rabbit rescue here in dayton.
