Has anyone else noticed that, when attempting to post to a thread, if someone else just happens to be posting simultaneously with you that your post may often get bumped clean off the board and you need to redo it? (I've been copying all my text in a post regularly so I don't get frustrated about lost text, but it's still a bit annoying.)
Is there anything that can be done about this? Just wondering.

Yes, other people have complained about this. I think Scarlet has experienced this often. We are way behind in our updates. My geekman has been on a work deadline, but he promises next week he'll get the site updated and up to speed again. Sorry for the inconvenience.
