For those of you who have been asking about grooming brushes, I just bought the ShedEnder at Target today. It was on clearance for $7 (from 9.99) and it is AMAZING! Way better than the slicker brush! It gets sooo much hair out both of my rabbits! Medusa is short hair, but its amazing how fluffly the undercoats can get, and Pookers is an angora mix so this is really good on him. I also have a slicker brush, which just doesn’t compare! I use a roll of packing tape to stick what comes off on it, and its ALOT!

Cassy is a rex, I use a soft bristle brush because combs seem like they would hurt her since her fur is so thin, but she doesnt seem to shed much…I think it’s because her fur is different…

I’ve seen those and was wondering if they are good for bunnies.  Thanks for the info!

I have that brush, and though it does work with Jack’s hair, it didn’t do as a good job with Bailey’s and Rucy’s more soft finer fur. I use the hairbuster (hairbuster.com) for the other two. I find that one to work the best for the two girls.

Where did you get that one? Did you order it off the website or is it sold elsewhere?

The owner of the rabbit rescue I volunteer for introduced us to the combs during a groomfest.  We were amazed by them, and so she ordered a whole bunch and sold them to us for cheap.  I looked everywhere for more locally, but I could only find them on the net.

The one i use has is red (not the purple one).   I can’t remember off the top of my head the cheapest place online, but you can just put in hairbuster and look online – maybe even on ebay?

I know you can go directly to their website http://www.hairbuster.com to check it out.

i want to order one of those binky – they sound great.  I tried the shedender – since it’s one of the brushes that is used for grooming at the haven adoption shows.  it was ok, but not like WOW with my bunnies.

does anyone else have a rabbit that doesn’t mind being lint rolled?
viktor has no issue with it all!

I do that with Fujoe! but he’ll catch on that it’s not us, and then freak out… but we can get a good amount of fur out before he notices… I used to use a brush, but Fujoe hates it… My boyfriend and I take great pride in plucking out loose hairs. It’s like our joy of grooming him. And Fujoe seems to enjoy it too
