Sorry for the delay!  Our first  few attempts at updating and changing things weren't successful.  So finally we got there - eh...almost.  The store won't allow purchases, but  hopefully  that will be fixed soon. But for the forum, it should be faster!!

So all this time, what were we doing?  We focused on our performance issues - site had been getting so slow.  We also now have more control the site.  I won't bore you with tech talk, but one of the issues before was that we would have to shut the site down while upgrading, which meant we would have to wait for issues to pile up so we could fix them all at once.  And then we found it would take forever  to fix them all, and we couldn't shut the site down for that long. 

NOW, we can work on the site problems and improvements, (like a better way to upload pics in the forum), and keep the site up at the same time.  So in the near future, you should see some of the tech problems listed in this forum, and then some, addressed.

urm, hate to be a spoil-sport binkybunny but i still am unable to create new posts/ use 'add reply' link...! did your techy have any idea why that's happening to me?

You're no spoil-sport.  I am just sorry that is happening.  What we did on this last upgrade was focused on performance as in speed and control, because our site was getting slower and slower.


And just as importantly, now that we don't have to shut the site down any longer to fiix things (only when we have to transfer all the fixes over and that is usually about an hour) We are now starting to conquer more thoroughly the list of things that needs to be fixed - including what is happening with your system.  So so far the techie guy thinks it has something to do with your system not reading a particular type of java script or something (I'm not full on tech either), and we are trying to figure out if it is something we can make compatible on our side so it won't happen to someone else.   If we can't figure it out, then we move on to our Tech guru guy. We only bring him our faillures. : )


We are hoping that this new performance updgrade has helped in the speed, and I have moved you up the list as you have been extremely patient.   (unfortunately, it probably won't be addressed until Monday)

loopy-lop... what browser are you using? I'm on a Mac, and I had to dl FireFox. I can't post, reply, anything with safari or internet explorer. If you're not on a mac, then... ignore this post
