I think we are, and it makes me sad. Boys who like bunnies are hot! |

i of course can only vouch for myself, but i'm definately female- i know this because my nearest and 'dearest' call me "the mad rabbit lady". sweet.
i agree that boys who like bunnies are hot - well, maybe they're not all hot but it would be fab to find an all round nice bloke who also loves m'babies - anyone know of such a thing? (that lives near newcastle, england!)

Yes, last time I checked I was female too. There is one member that posted here who is a guy,- posted a long time ago. Can't remember his member name exactly, but he has a very cute bunny, and was just getting diet advice.
At the rabbit rescue I volunteer for, there are several male bunny owners. There is one who boards his bunny there, and when he does, he has a whole host of specific instructions on how to care for his bunny. You can tell he really loved his bunny.
Then there was another bunny that was boarding - the bunny is paralized, but has lots of spunk! And her male owner has been caring for this special needs bunny for five years so far.
I love to see that! |

are we talking about 'plop'? i only say that cause there is a picture in the gallery of plop and she's sitting in front of some playstation/man-toy thing and i remember him saying that she hadn't chewed any of the wires! he also mention his girlfriend, but that still doesn't guarantee its a bloke!
I was also a lady last time i looked |

Hello, I just joined, and yes, I'm female too. My husband loves our buns too, though, but he isn't the one that joins groups online. Maybe it's the same with other male bunny dads, I guess us women are just more chatty . But if anything he loves the buns more, he certainly spoils them more . He's the one who brought them home and wanted to adopt them, too, first Hazel, our very first bunny, then later my daughter's bun, White Chocolate.
If someone can tell me how to add pictures to an email, I'll put up a few cute ones of him and the buns.
But I should introduce myself, my name is Hilde Dehuvyne, and my family and me live in Sacramento, CA. We have 2 bunnies. Our oldest, Hazel, is almost 4 now, she is actually a "wild" western cottontail (or Brush Rabbit) that was rescued off the side of the street with a crushed leg. Then my husband rescued her from the "rescuers", his brother's housemates, who just had her in a plastic bin, in a room full of smoke. So she came home to us, a tiny baby, cute as a button, and became part of our family. Our second is an English Spot, just over 1 year old White Chocolate. She was adopted from the shelter, where she was "on death row", slated to be put down. We met her on a special adoption day through the House Rabbit Society, and my husband just couldn't leave without the poor little bun who had been shuttled between foster homes and shelter. So, we had our second one, who is now "bonded" to my daughter and is a real "mommy's bun" . |

Hazel-mom. I welcomed you on another post, but officially WELCOME aboard again!
Another Northern Californian! Whoo hoo! There's a couple of us here!
You sound like a caring family who has a soft spot for bunnies! I am so glad that you were able to rescue those bunnies! And how sweet of your husband to rescue that poor bunny from that place. It's amazing how some people don't care enough, and then it's amazing to see the other people that do! My husband and I are also big fans of rabbit rescues and it sounds like you were able to help several sweet fuzzy faces out.
That's wonderful! |

There are a couple of other "dudes" here. One is LopDaddy, and I can't for the life of me remember the other. I definitely know there are 1/3rd guys who send in pics for the gallery.
Also, volunteering at the shelter, bunnies are equal opportunity pets, and more and more guys are getting rabbits.

I just thought it was odd, that most of us were "bunny mommys". i mean, don't get me wrong- Fujoe's daddy loves him very much.. and it's cute, he'll be like "Lucy! What's Fujoe doing? You should go post on Binky Bunny, they'll know what's wrong!" So he's a HUGE fan of the site, and is really greatful that it's here... I wouldn't have gotten through the summer without you guys (ahem, I mean girls..). My boyfriend was gone for 3 months, and I had Fujoe at his worst stage.. But now everything is much better. Yay for all of us!!!! |

It looks like you are trying to post a picture that is based on your computer? No? IF so, you can use the section below the text box that you write in. It says Message attachments on it, and you'll then be able to put it in as an attachment. Then we should be able to click on it to see it.
If you did that already and it didnt' work, let me know. |
