        Good Morning,

I’m new to rabbit owning. I have a neutered six month old lop mix. He was raised outdoors and I had him in a pen since I got him about six weeks ago. I’ve decided to move him in the house for nighttime, allowing him in the pen if the weather is nice during the day. Since I want him to be litter trained, would moving him in/out hamper the training?

He sure made a mess on his first night in!

        Thanks for any advice!

        Bella

It really depends on the bunny. Some bunnies are really good about maintaining their litter habits, while others may have a few accidents, especially when moving to a new place. I would advise you jeep him indoors until you are satisfied with his litter habits, then you can take him outside to see how he does. My guess is that he will figure it out quickly-you can try to set up both of his areas the same or at least put the litterbox in the same spot in his area so he doesn’t get confused.
