My rabbit reggie doesn’t like most of the toys I’ve introduced. He doesn’t like digging or tunnels, he really only chews pinecone toys or Hay based toys. I have noticed that he loves to play tug of War with me. He likes to grab and pull something away when I’m pulling it. The only problem is I can’t find any rabbit toys for this purpose. If it’s made of hay he’ll breat it/chew through it immediately and any sort of cloth is dangerous if he eats it. Any ideas for a bunny safe tug of War type of toy?

i don’t have any answeres that I have tried personally but maybe a stick? like the ones they chew on but you could play tug o war with him. Oh and have you seen the woven grass mats? maybe you could cut it into wide strips, he could still bite through eventually but it would hold up long enough to tire him out. I’m interested to see if anyone else has better ideas because my 2 like to play that as well.

Tough cardboard works with my buns. Likewise, I usually get a pack of seaweed wraps for my buns for cheap, and while the buns will chew through them I find one wrap will tide them over for a game or two.

I usually braid rafia fibers into a pigtail sort of shape, with knots at each end so that the bun can hold on to it. Then he usually chews it up

He plays tug of war also with his apple sticks if I hold one end

Oxbow Timothy Twists are made of 100% timothy hay, but they are pretty thick and tough, so they might last a while. I just measured the ones I have. They are 7″ – 8″ long and about an inch thick.

Agreed with what they are saying. Timothy Twists work really well, and they’re cheap (plus can be used as a tasty treat for them lol)
