The other day I was at my local flea market and saw a rather large rabbit in the cage. I asked about the bunny and was only told that he was a Male named Sully who was surrendered to them not even 20bminutes ago. I normally don’t like getting animals without research but they told me due to his large size he would go to a breeding farm if he wasn’t homed today. Before I could pull up the internet the kids had renamed him ‘Biggie Smallz’ and I was taking home an oversized baby.
He currently lives in a large dog cage until a suitable sized rabbit cage is delivered and we have basic rabbit feed for him. Any help in identifying his breed is appreciated. I’m a bit of a worry wart and want to be aware of any breed specific common illnesses as well as allergies, treats and such. Thank you in advance!

P.S.: Sorry for his messy cage. He seemed to disagree with me when I told him the bedding was to stay IN the cage with him lol

          Welcome !

Love the name your kids gave him lol.

I wouldn’t be surprised if his is part flemish giant. He looks pretty big and that steel colour is common in flemish giants, I believe.

Do you have an idea of his age and weight at all?

To make your life easier, you can try going bedding free. If he’s indoors, there is no need for it. Just giving him a big litter box with litter/bedding in that with some hay on top will be neater and more likely have him toileting in the one spot.

Oops. Just realised the coat looks like chinchilla, not Steel.
