Hi there, your images weren’t showing properly which is probably why you haven’t received any responses yet. You had attached them, but after attaching you need to click on the insert image button for each one as well. I fixed it for you

He does look like a nethie, but not a true dwarf. In dwarf rabbit breeds there are true dwarf and false dwarf rabbits. Breeders pair false and true dwarfs together which prevents the incidence of the fatal double dwarf gene. So while I’d say that he is possibly pure netherland dwarf, he would be a false dwarf, not a true dwarf.

If he’s a mix, he definitely has a number of nethie characteristics. Do you know how much he weighs?

I agree with Azerane. He definitely has Nethie characteristics. He very well could be all Nethie, but probably not a true dwarf. As Azerane explained, there will always be false dwarfs within dwarf breeds because of the way the genetics works (dwarfism is a dominant gene, but two copies of the gene is lethal). False dwarfs are often sold as “pet quality” because, although they are purebred, they do not meet breed standards.
