My lovey lop Luther is one of the most loveliest animals I’ve ever had but he has an addiction to scraping the sides of his cage I’ve given him toys to play with even simple things to play with but he just won’t stop! Some nights he won’t do it at all but sometimes he can be doing it all night and since he’s a house bunny I can’t sleep because of it. I have to keep him in my bedroom because of my cats and dog but he ventures out all through the day and has plenty of time in the garden with Skye my brothers rabbit but she doesn’t seem to do it because she’s outside but I have no idea why he’s doing it any help or suggestions would be amazing, thank you

If he’s a digger, try putting a small phone book in his cage at night. It’ll still be noisy if he tears at the paper pages, but it will be quieter than scratching the sides of the cage. Luna isn’t a digger, but she used to rattle her cage (which is in my bedroom) at night because she wanted to sleep outside of her cage for whatever reason. I let her stay out at night now, but I had to bunnyproof the room and make sure my cat was ok with it.

He wants more room/to come out and play some more. Any way you can add an xpen or DIY grid pen to his cage so he has more freedom?
