        Hi.

I have a tan coloured lop and he has recently developed a dark brown spot above his nose. About 1cm in diameter. His skin seems fine. Should I be worried?

Is it his fur that changed colors, or his skin that changed colors? Its pretty normal for their fur to change colors/patterns slowly over a long period of time/years

How old is he? My bun is a Himi and he was 100% percent white when we got him at 5 weeks. he slowly started to develop his coloring as he got older. For the himi its the nose, ears, tail and toes. but its normal for other breeds as well like mikey said. if he’s young his color could still be developing. I would say as long as it doesn’t appear to be a wound (scabby, red, bleeding) which you said his skin looks fine- I wouldn’t worry. He’s just adding more cuteness!

If it is just the fur changing color he is probably fine, as rabbits mature they’re color continues to develop. If it was a skin problem his fur would probably fall out.
