Forum BEHAVIOR Weird sounds of maybe excitement?

        When i let my doe, Naomi (4 months old) out of her cage, my buck Dusty (5months) with see her and make little womping sounds kinda sounds like lil nazley snorts or even chirping maybe, does this mean hes excited?

          Yes, he is likely excited. Is Dusty neutered? If not, he could also be sexually frustrated. It can be very dangerous to have an unneutered male in the same area as an unspayed female, when they are both old enough to start reproducing. It only takes a few seconds of an accidental meeting, for a pregnancy to result. At 5 months of age, Dusty should be old enough to be neutered. They can be neutered when their testicles have descended. You will have to wait another couple of months to get your female spayed.
