Hello! I got my rabbit about a week ago, she is a 2 year old lop named Bun I just want to make sure that I am feeding her correctly!

She has unlimited Timothy hay, about 1/4 cup of pellets and a few stalks of romaine lettuce a day. Is this alright? I am also noticing that she isn’t really eating her hay. Any tips??

          Congratulations on your new bunny!

Her diet sounds pretty good. Do you know what type of lop she is?
You could try cutting back pellets a little to see if she’ll eat more hay. Or get some samples of other types like orchard or oat hay and see if she has a preference those.
Do you place her hay in her litter box or near it? They like to eat hay and toilet at the same time.
It’s good to start out slow with greens if you are not sure what she was eating before. If she is coping fine with the Romaine, you can gradually bring in some other greens so that there is a mix. But getting her interested in hay would be first priority.

Thanks Jerseygirl!! Yes her hay is right in with her litter box. But I also have her pellets in a bowl in her litter box as well because I want to  litter box train her. Do you think I should move the bowl somewhere else? And thanks! I will have to try out another type of hay

As for her breed I’m not sure. I’ll insert a picture, let me know if you have any idea!!
