For anyone that has used pet assure, am I able to use it the same day I purchase it? I’m wondering since I get paid on the 30th and Ralphies vet apt is on the 30th if I could use it on his vet bill. just trying to save myself some money. He is having dental work done on his molars.

He’s doing quite a bit better, more active eating more his poops are mostly normal now, his chin isn’t wet anymore. He seems happier and interested since doin the pellet hay baby food mash up. It’s only been a couple of days and he somehow already seems way better. His vet apt is now sept. 30th, it is going to be pretty costly 50$ for exam then if he needs the molar Spurs she said +75$ and then however much his anthesia will cost (she couldn’t give me a estimate since it’s based off weight) and then + the price of medication. She also couldn’t give an estimate on that because she said she doesn’t know what medications she might want him on. I can’t remember the price I paid for his anthesia at the last vet but I don’t think it was much and they didn’t give him ANY medication after his inscior removal.

Big disappointment the vet I will be going to does not participate in pet assure. Still looking for other options for discounts.

They probably should have given you medication after Ralphie’s incisor removal. I don’t know anything about teeth issues in bunnies, but the rates do seem expensive. I lived in your general area (well, kind of…Austin) and vet prices were stupid high there. Sometimes more competition doesn’t drive down prices, oddly.

Hopefully once this is over, you and Ralphie will have a good long break from vet visits. I’m glad he is doing so well on the pellet mash.

I am sorry about the pet assure, but at least you didn’t buy it and then find out.
