Melon and lemon have been living together for about three weeks. There has been no fighting but they spend most of their time separately. I have occasionally seen them grom each other. Have not seen them cuddle together at all! They are no more than just roommates. Does this mean they have not bonded?

Do you mean sort of ignoring? Grooming and ignoring is great

They are likely bonded but arnt “in love” or have that “best friend” relationship. They clearly like one another, but are more on the independent side
