Bupenorphrin is considered bunny safe, but the most commonly prescribed painkiller for bunnies is meloxicam (Metacam). Bupeniorphrine is an opioid and thus it slows the gut. Make sure your boy is pooping like he should be, hydration is extra important too. 2 days is a short course of treatment and he should be fine.
