Well recently I bought a dwarf rabbit and the woman said she is a lionhead mixed with another I can’t recall. I never thought I would own a rabbit but I saw this one in her cage and with no intention of buying anything I told the woman I wanted this rabbit and everything to get started for right now. She now has a two story wooden pen, unlimited Timothy hay and she is allowed to roam the house. She potty trained herself which is amazing. She gets put in her mansion pen when I go to bed and anytime I’m awake and home she has her pen open and she can run around. Still training her to stop chewing on electrical wires around. No worries she is always followed when she goes out of sight. I’m the guy you wouldn’t believe owns a rabbit. Nobody believes I own a rabbit until they see her. I am glad I got a rabbit because I never thought I would own one… Well here I am with a rabbit haha.

Hello and welcome to Binky Bunny! Rabbits do love to chew, especially on electrical wires. You can buy various wraps to protect the wires, or bundle them and put them up or block them off from your rabbit. Click on the BUNNY INFO link at the top of the page, to read about bunny proofing and other basic rabbit care articles.

Hello and welcome Tux. There is no training rabbits to not chew wires (we’ve all been there)

PREVENTION is the only way to not get her electrocuted, or for you to have to replace lots of computer/mobile wires. I thought I was watching her and that she popped off to have a sniff… and CLIP.. computer cable dead….

                    Photos please !!
